      QuickBooks printer not showing problem

If you are trying to print reports or invoices from QuickBooks, and you are having a problem, there are a couple of things that could be causing the problem.  One common situation is that the QuickBooks file that stores your printer configuration has been corrupted.  If this happens, you’ll have to re-create it..

Here are the steps to take to delete and re-create the QBPRINT.QBP file:

        1. Open My Computer.
          2. Navigate to the following directory:

      QuickBooks 2007:

      • Windows XP: C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataIntuitQuickBooks 2007
      • Windows Vista: C:ProgramDataIntuitQuickBooks 2007
      • For QuickBooks 2006 and earlier: C:Program FilesIntuitQuickBooks [your version of Quickbooks i.e. 2007]

Another way to resolve this issue:

If your printer is not connected to the computer or your printer is offline then also this issue occurs. To ensure that you will be able to print your invoice, you need to set your printer as default.

      Follow these given below steps:

      • Click Print or Preview in the invoice screen.
      • At the top, Click on the Print icon.
      • In Printer Settings, click on the drop-down arrow and choose the Printer Name.
      • Then, click on OK.

NOTE: Save yourself some time, and use the Windows Search. Just enter QBPRINT.QBP into the search box.  It saves having to navigate through a number of folders.

        1. Delete the QBPRINT.QBP file.
          4. Open QuickBooks.
          5. Click the File menu and select Printer Setup.
          6. Click a transaction in the Form Name drop-down
          7. Click OK.
          A. This will re-create the QBPRINT.QBP file.
