      To set up manual payroll In QuickBooks payroll without subscriptions so lets see some step:-

      1. You have to make sure that your preferences are set up for payroll.

      • First, select Preferences from the Edit menu.
      • Now, on the left pane after choosing Payroll & Employees, then go to the Company Preferences button.
      • Select the Full Payroll radio button in the QuickBooks desktop payroll features section.
      • Now, select OK.

      2. From the help menu, select QuickBooks facilitate. (or press F1 on your keyboard)

      3. In the facilitate Search field, sort manual payroll then press Enter.

      4. Select the subject Calculate payroll manually (without a subscription to QuickBooks Payroll).

      5. Under Set your company file to use the manual payroll calculations setting, click the manual payroll calculations link.

      6. Select Set my company file to use manual calculations link.

      7. Close and open up QuickBooks Desktop.

      Now, Click the Employees drop-down menu and select Payroll Setup to set up your payroll.
